Job description

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a prestigious construction company in the Cambridge area, and were looking for a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction and carpentry to contribute to impactful, hands-on projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in remodeling, installation, drywall finishing, painting, and masonry. If youre detail-oriented, comfortable reading schematics, and enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment, wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, painting, drywall finishing, and flooring installation
* Assist with masonry work to ensure structural quality and project standards
* Execute remodeling projects based on schematics and blueprints
* Install various fixtures and fittings according to job specifications
* Lay tile with precision and attention to detail
* Operate CNC machinery for custom woodwork (as needed)
* Maintain a clean and safe job site
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a carpenter or construction laborer
* Skilled in a wide range of carpentry tools and techniques
* Familiarity with masonry work preferred
* Remodeling experience highly desirable
* Ability to accurately read blueprints and schematics
* High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
* Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks for extended periods
