Cherry Bekaert Recruiting and Staffing is partnered with a growing organization in the government contracting space seeking a GovCon Billing Specialist to support highvolume, detaildriven billing operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who understands government contract billing and thrives in a deadlineoriented environment supporting project teams and accounting leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices for government contracts (e.g., T&M, FFP) in accordance with contract terms
  • Coordinate billing inputs with project teams (timesheets, expenses, funding, rates)
  • Support accounts receivable tracking, collections followup, and billing reporting
  • Maintain billing documentation and support audits/compliance efforts
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and efficiency
