Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Administrator for 2nd Shift (3 PM- 11 PM) to support our production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining production documentation, coordinating schedules, generating reports, tracking production data, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient production processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.

Requirements

  • Maintain accurate production schedules, work orders, and production records.
  • Enter production data into company systems accurately and timely.
  • Generate and distribute production reports, including production output, downtime, and inventory reports.
  • Coordinate production schedules and assist in ensuring orders are completed on time.
  • Act as a liaison between production, planning, warehouse, and other departments.
  • Monitor production costs and assist with budget tracking.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to production leadership as needed.
  • Assist with various reporting and data analysis projects.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing, food production, or production environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems or production management software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing or food safety practices is a plus.
