As a Staff Visual Designer on the Google Chat UX team, you will influence the future of real-time communication in a highly strategic and impactful role. You will oversee visual design outcomes for both established programs and emerging Google Chat initiatives, steering the visual strategy and designing high-priority features across Web, Android, and iOS.
You will act as a subject-matter expert in UI design, visual craft, and systems thinking. You thrive in ambiguous environments, establishing visual languages where no precedent exists and aligning cross-functional leaders around a cohesive, premium aesthetic. In this role, you will advocate the visual design strategy for new features, manage design system standards, and act as a driving force for design excellence throughout the Google Workspace product area.
User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love.
