Job Title Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js, React & Google Cloud Platform) Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing application optimization. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements, use cases, and technical challenges. Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using modern development tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Evaluate application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies. Design high-level software architecture, including application components and interfaces. Partner with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects. Define and implement software testing strategies, standards, and processes. Continuously improve application performance and development efficiency by adopting new technologies. Apply software engineering best practices, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD). Implement security best practices to help protect user data through techniques such as encryption and anonymization. Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces. Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices using server-side technologies. Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate appropriate solutions into software development efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 6+ years of IT experience. 4+ years of software development experience. Practical experience with two programming languages or advanced proficiency in one programming language. Experience with: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Google Cloud Run Node.js React Serverless Computing Tekton Software testing methodologies Unit testing Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Experience with GitHub. Experience developing REST APIs. Knowledge of endpoint security. Experience with web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG), accessibility testing tools, screen readers, axe, and user interviews. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Strong collaboration skills with UI/UX designers. Mechanical and engineering empathy. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
