Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years of experience with iOS application development.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
  • Experience with mobile development.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience with Flutter and Dart.
  • Experience with Gen AI and AI Chatbots.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
In this role, your key responsibilities will involve direct contribution to the development and maintenance of the Gemini Enterprise mobile application itself both for iPhone Operating System and for Android as well as its interconnected backend systems, ensuring seamless functionality and robust performance across the entire stack. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and best practices within the team, contributing to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and ongoing support. Your expertise will directly influence the architectural decisions and technical direction of our mobile offerings, making an impact on the rapidly growing user base of Gemini Enterprise.
The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud's mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $262000 - $365000 (USD) 25% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Build and own end-to-end applications that address horizontal use cases spanning multiple industries.
  • Integrate Google technology, working at multiple levels of the stack from the Application Programming Interfaces (API) to the frontend.
  • Address the needs of enterprises and their employees the end users of the mobile application.
  • Build reusable components to be used in the development of vertical-specific User Interface.
  • Build and continuously refine features for the mobile application.
