Title: Systems Engineer III Location: Alexandria, VA  Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Job Details: Lead analysis of user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop requirements and drive system design, development, integration, and implementation Provide technical leadership across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including architecture development, system design, integration, testing, and operational transition Develop and maintain system architecture, engineering documentation, and plans (SEMPs, integration/test plans, SOPs, security documentation, and architecture diagrams) Guide requirements development, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses to optimize system performance across the lifecycle Direct and support system integration, interface definition, and end-to-end analysis, including resolution of complex hardware/software issues and vendor coordination Develop and support modern infrastructure solutions, including: Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Server deployment and domain management Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) Design and implement automation and DevOps solutions, including: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) with modular design Configuration as Code (Ansible) CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) Secret management solutions Develop and utilize scripting solutions (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate operations and improve system efficiency Ensure secure system design and compliance alignment, including access control, authentication, and secure communications Communicate effectively with government stakeholders, program teams, and senior executives, providing technical guidance and status reporting Maintain technical integrity and quality of deliverables, while managing or supporting complex, high-risk programs Supervise and mentor technical staff, establishing best practices and state-of-the-art engineering approaches Stay current with emerging technologies and drive their evaluation and integration into enterprise environments Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in technical discipline; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree Minimum six (6) years of directly related experience Demonstrated experience with: Systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible) CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI or similar) Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) Server deployment, domain management, and system integration Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python) Secrets management and secure system design Development of technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams Proven ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and solve complex problems Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certification Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
