Job description

Job Summary/Company: A growing technology company supporting defense and intelligence missions is seeking multiple mid-level and senior Systems Engineers. This role will support complex space and geospatial programs through model-based systems engineering, requirements management, architecture development, and verification and validation. Position is onsite in Herndon, VA and requires and active TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document system architectures, requirements, interfaces, CONOPS, use cases, data flows, and testing approaches.
  • Apply MBSE and System V principles throughout the system-development, integration, and verification lifecycle.
  • Support requirements management, V&V activities, engineering reviews, and process improvement within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of systems-engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Hands-on experience with MBSE, requirements management, verification and validation, and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance; must hold or be willing to obtain a CI polygraph. Space, aerospace, or geospatial experience is strongly preferred.
