Job description

This position is responsible for the assistance in administering safety documentation for the corporate safety and environmental team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • OSHA 300 and 301 completion, tracking and distribution
  • Updates and maintains SDS documentation for direct or electronic distribution and availability
  • Ensures distribution of updates of all safety policies, alerts and procedural changes to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
  • Aids in the procurement and distribution of PPE to management personnel for distribution to end users, as needed
  • Departmental file organization and maintenance, particularly with regard to training data input
  • Tracking of environmental and plant permitting in cooperation with the environmental management staff
  • A minimum of five years experience as an administrative assistant
  • Safety administrative background is strongly preferred
  • Experienced in the use of Google G-Suite products
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
