Data Center Facilities Infrastructure Specialist (DCFIS)
General Qualifications/Skills (TEMPE, AZ)
1. The DCFIS shall generally meet the following qualifications and possess the
following skills:
? A clear understanding of industry best installation practices related to fiber/copper
structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and documentation
? Knowledge of hardware components regarding network, storage, security and carrier
circuit equipment
? Minimum of 7 years' experience working in a data center, NOC or similar critical
systems environments
? The ability to monitor and control daily service ticket activity, prioritizing multiple tasks
? Proficiency with managing information in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google
Workspace (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Google Sheets, Chat, Docs, etc.)
? Above average communication skills (both verbal and written)
? Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
? Basic knowledge and experience with critical facilities systems/topology (Electrical,
HVAC, Mechanical, and Controls)
? The ability to work completely independently, while at times delegating task to other
individuals
