Role Description

Our Software Engineering team is responsible for the Salesforce CPQ/Order Management for GFiber Enterprise applications. Our team’s leadership is notable for listening to feedback and transparent decision-making as we iterate and deliver features quickly with an MVP mindset.

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into innovative solutions within our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for implementing Salesforce solutions that align with industry best practices while conducting rigorous peer code reviews. Your deep experience in Salesforce development, coupled with expertise in CPQ (Vlocity) and OmniScript will be instrumental in delivering high‑quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable solutions within our Salesforce instance for Product Catalog, Pricing Structure with Vlocity CPQ.
  • Work on a team of distributed backend engineers, fostering a team culture of collaboration by providing space to ask questions, offer technical guidance, and share ideas.
  • Collaborate with internal development and cross‑functional teams, such as technical program managers, engineering managers, and other engineers, to successfully deliver projects within agreed‑upon timelines.
  • Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, Visualforce, APIs, and Force.com applications.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to outages and emergency issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years in Salesforce development with an understanding of the Salesforce Security model and Sales/Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • 6 years of experience with Apex & REST API.
  • 2 years of experience with Vlocity and/or Omniscript.
  • Direct experience in Salesforce configuration/customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, Lightning web components (LWC), and Vlocity (CPQ).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Salesforce developer (PD2, System Architect, Integration Architect, etc.).
  • Experience using development tools such as GitHub and Harness.io.
  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, GCP considered advanced.
  • Experience developing systems integrated with and/or hands‑on experience using Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Vlocity, Salesforce CPQ, Comms Cloud on Core).
Salary & Benefits

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $177,600 - $229,700 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
