Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Allen, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support large-scale technology modernization and infrastructure transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for driving detailed project planning, execution, dependency management, and delivery coordination across multiple business and technology teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project manager who thrives in complex environments and takes ownership of execution. This individual will develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks and issues, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, drive accountability, facilitate key project meetings, and ensure critical milestones are achieved.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans and work breakdown structures (WBS)
* Drive day-to-day execution of complex technology initiatives
* Manage dependencies, critical path activities, risks, issues, and action items
* Coordinate activities across business, technology, and vendor teams
* Facilitate project planning, status, and execution meetings
* Escalate delivery risks, schedule concerns, and resource constraints when necessary
* Monitor project performance and ensure governance artifacts remain current
* Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and technology transformation efforts
* Partner closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
* Contribute to project management standards, processes, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of project management experience leading complex technology projects
* Proven success managing large-scale technology transformation initiatives
* Strong experience building detailed project plans and work breakdown structures (WBS)
* Expertise in dependency management, critical path planning, and project execution
* Experience managing project risks, issues, action items, and escalations
* Ability to coordinate multiple teams across business and technology organizations
* Strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills
* Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms
* Experience supporting cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or platform transformation projects
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* PMP certification
* Experience within banking, payments, fintech, or financial services environments
* Experience working in large enterprise organizations
* Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
