Solutions Architect – Google Cloud (GCP)

Overview
Engage with customers to deliver Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security and solutions projects. Protect and defend customers and communities by providing a comprehensive range of cyber security professional services. Work with a team of over 1,400 professionals across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and US.

Day to day you will:
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise and advice to customers.
  • Work with customer specifications to design and implement technical solutions.
  • Author documentation to the highest standard.
  • Produce high‑quality reports and presentations for senior client stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer meetings and workshops.
  • Manage client expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure project delivery meets expectations.
  • Support the creation of reference architectures and new product offerings.
  • Be involved in IP development and repeatability.
  • Participate in technical pre‑sales activities including proposal creation and peer review.
  • Collaborate across CyberCX, facilitate communication, partnerships and cross‑pollination to add value.
  • Build and promote strong, long‑lasting relationships with a diverse range of customers and identify opportunities.
  • Ensure consulting services are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Google Cloud Architect Professional Certified.
  • 6+ years experience with Cloud GCP and Google Unified Security advisory and architecture.
  • Consulting, implementation and migration knowledge in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and related services.
  • Experience in Cloud Security, Windows/Linux, and enterprise networking.
  • Broad experience and knowledge in hybrid and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to communicate with structure, clarity and precision.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and proactive attitude.
  • Agile and resilient response to setbacks.
