Primary Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the engineering strategy and, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives... Engage with key stakeholders-including business leaders, clients, and partners-to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and align priorities. Establish and enforces quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-performing, reliable solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives and that all efforts are coordinated. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise. Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding. Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Manage a team of high performing engineers, provide mentorship, fostering professional growth, and ensuring team effectiveness. Contribute to solution design and architecture, collaborating with product teams, architects, and senior engineers.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with designing and building highly scalable software engineering solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring / Spring boot frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in independently managing deliverables
  • 3+ years of Experience in microservices architecture.
  • 3+ years of exposure to any of the leading cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional knowledge and experience of Pharmacy
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written form

Education
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
