***You must have demonstrated senior level program management and marketing experience supporting tobacco cessation and/or tobacco prevention initiatives***About the role

Blueprint Creative Group is building a national bench of Tobacco Cessation Program Managers to support state and local public health marketing contracts across the U.S. You’ll manage end to end delivery for tobacco cessation and prevention communication programs. This includes work planning, stakeholder coordination, partner activation, content and campaign execution support, and performance reporting. The right person blends public health expertise with operational excellence and a strong bias toward measurable outcomes.

What you’ll do
  • Lead day to day program management for tobacco cessation and prevention marketing campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and community channels

  • Translate contract requirements and workplans into clear schedules, deliverables, and accountability across internal teams and partners

  • Coordinate with public health agencies, coalitions, healthcare partners, schools, and community based organizations to activate campaigns and expand reach

  • Support development of audience informed messaging and content. Ensure materials reflect evidence based best practices and cultural relevance

  • Manage campaign calendars, approvals workflows, and asset trafficking timelines across multiple stakeholders

  • Partner with media, creative, and analytics leads to ensure campaigns launch on time and performance is tracked against KPIs

  • Oversee reporting cadences. weekly status, monthly dashboards, quarterly and annual summaries. Support post buy and outcome reporting when applicable

  • Monitor risks and issues. Implement mitigation plans, document decisions, and maintain compliance with client requirements

  • Support events and outreach activations. vendor coordination, logistics, and materials as needed

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation using client required tools (often SharePoint, Teams, Asana, Trello, or similar)

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of program management experience in public health marketing, healthcare communications, behavior change marketing, or health promotion

  • Demonstrated experience supporting tobacco cessation and or tobacco prevention initiatives (example: quitline promotion, vaping prevention, smoke free environments, nicotine education)

  • Strong stakeholder management skills. experience working with government agencies or public sector funded programs preferred

  • Experience managing multi channel campaign workflows and deliverables

  • Excellent writing and documentation skills. able to produce status reports, workplans, and meeting summaries

  • Comfort working with data and metrics. able to translate performance indicators into actionable insights

  • Ability to travel occasionally within the U.S.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with evidence based behavior change frameworks (social marketing principles, health behavior theory, stages of change, harm reduction concepts)

  • Experience working with priority populations and health equity focused programming

  • Exposure to evaluation methods. survey design, message testing, dashboard reporting, or post buy analysis

  • Knowledge of tobacco control policy context (Tobacco 21, smoke free laws, flavored product restrictions, retail compliance)

  • Experience coordinating web, digital, and social campaigns, including content governance and basic analytics literacy (Google Analytics, tag management, social insights)
