Job Duties
Performs a variety of clinical clerical tasks, including answering telephones, typing documents, dealing with clients, and filing records. Provides services listed below to health department district which may require some weekly travel. Travel will be done during work time with a department vehicle.
  • Immunizations/Travel - Focus on vaccine-preventable diseases for children and adults
  • Baby Your Baby - Baby Your Baby eligibility card to pay for routine prenatal care visits, OB ultrasounds, some pregnancy-related medications, and other outpatient pregnancy-related services for a limited amount of time
  • Outreach Services - Provides outreach services to promote health department programs. Participates in case management to ensure access and encourage preventative health screenings of Utah children enrolled in Medicaid programs. Contact Local Providers to promote participation and provide information on how they can enroll as a Medicaid Provider

Work Schedule
  • Monday thru Thursday 7:30-5:30, Friday from 8-5 with every other Friday off

Skills/Abilities
  • Computer skills (google drive, Microsoft Suite, etc)
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Good customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Spanish speaking strongly preferred
