SimPro Group is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Director of IT & Security to join our team in downtown Miami. This is a highly rewarding, fast-paced, in-office role where you will serve as the hands-on architect of the company's technological resilience and security posture. You will be instrumental in defining and implementing the strategic vision for a scalable, secure corporate infrastructure that enables rapid business growth while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy and Governance: Own the overall strategy for enterprise IT, risk mitigation, and technical governance across the organization.

  • System Management: Lead all aspects of corporate systems management, ensuring operational efficiency, scalability, and security.

  • Modern Workplace Evolution: Drive the evolution of the modern workplace, continuously evaluating and implementing tools and practices that enhance employee productivity and collaboration.

  • Security Posture: Implement a proactive security strategy to ensure continuous compliance and protect corporate assets from evolving threats.

  • Infrastructure Design: Architect and maintain corporate infrastructure that is secure, resilient, and capable of supporting SimPro Group's aggressive growth trajectory.

What You Will Bring (Required Experience & Qualifications)

  • 10+ years with a mix of experience with building systems and IT leadership.

  • Proven track record of scaling enterprise IT and security programs in high-growth startup environments.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in successfully migrating an enterprise environment from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 without disruption.

  • Expertise in implementing efficient and highly scalable IT service processes and procedures by leveraging AI for scale.

  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to high-growth organizations including SOC2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.

  • Experience leading and mentoring remote or hybrid IT teams.

  • Strong technical foundation across corporate networking, cloud infrastructure, systems management, and security architecture.
