Overview
We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager (GIS Data Manager) to provide expert-level geospatial data management. This role leads the collection, maintenance, quality control, and visualization of geospatial data across the Area of Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI). The Senior Knowledge Manager ensures geospatial data is accurate, accessible, and integrated with all-source intelligence to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the collection, maintenance, and enhancement of geospatial datasets across AOR and AOI.
  • Ensure GIS data accuracy, consistency, and operational accessibility.
  • Format and prepare geospatial data for platforms including ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGlobe, Google Earth, QGIS, Palantir Raven, SOCCET GXP, ERDAS, and RemoteView.
  • Develop programming solutions (Python, HTML, SQL, or equivalent) to automate workflows, simplify analytic processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and train mid-level and junior GIS analysts on modeling, programming, and geospatial data best practices.
  • Integrate geospatial intelligence with multi-source intelligence to produce actionable insights for leadership.
  • Provide strategic guidance on geospatial data strategy, operational visualization, and intelligence integration.
  • Lead GIS support during deployments, exercises, and contingency operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance, SSBI, and favorable CI polygraph.
  • 8+ years of experience in geospatial intelligence, GIS data management, or related fields.
