Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data pipelines and data solutions. This role will focus on building reliable data ingestion and transformation processes, supporting analytics use cases, and improving the performance, quality, and efficiency of data workflows in Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and curating data from multiple sources
  • Build and support cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and related technologies
  • Develop data transformation logic using Python, SQL, and DBT/Dataform
  • Help ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for analytics and reporting
  • Monitor and improve pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Support data governance, access controls, and security best practices within cloud environments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver practical solutions
  • Assist with automation, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure support using tools such as Terraform and related platforms
  • Document data processes, pipeline logic, and technical solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, cloud processing, and data delivery
