Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 14 years of experience in business intelligence (BI) or data engineering.
  • 2 years of experience designing, building, or deploying agentic workflows, large language model (LLM) features, or generative AI solutions within a business context.
  • Experience using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards.
  • Experience identifying and resolving data-related issues, including translating data into actionable insights.
  • Leadership experience, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA, Master's degree, or advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study.
  • Experience supporting sales operations with the ability to create a goal and BI roadmap to solve business problems.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or HTML for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.

As the Head of Agentic Business Intelligence, you will lead a specialized team defining the intersection of enterprise Business Intelligence and Generative AI at Google scale. You will own the long-term goals, architecture, and infrastructure for the "Frictionless Intelligence" initiative-integrating advanced agentic workflows and conversational analytics within Looker.
Your work will directly power Google's global Go-To-Market (GTM) Sales organization (serving over 10,000 internal users) while creating a blueprint showcase used to drive enterprise Google Cloud (GE) adoption globally.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
  • Define the goal and technical architecture for rolling out agentic workflows, conversational analytics, and AI features within Looker for 10,000 internal Google users.
  • Lead complex, large-scale BI projects from inception to execution. Manage the design of robust data marts, pipeline modifications, and scalable data warehousing.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach a lean team of high-performing BI professionals and data engineers.
  • Partner closely with Product and GTM Strategy teams. Serve as the point of escalation for high-priority, fast-turnaround business insights and requests for senior executives.
  • Present at Executive Briefing Centers, showcasing Google's internal AI/BI architecture to enterprise clients and partners.
