HR Business Partner

Location: Boston, MA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Job Type: Temporary Contract
Pay: $33.94 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a dynamic Human Resources team in Boston. This role is ideal for an HR professional with experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR coordination who enjoys working closely with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams.

You'll play an important role in supporting organizational changes, employee transitions, HR programs, communications, and day-to-day people operations while gaining exposure to broader HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR Business Partner team.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including:
    • Promotions
    • Transfers
    • Organizational changes
    • Offboarding
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to execute HR processes and initiatives.
  • Coordinate HR communications and employee-related activities.
  • Organize meetings, track follow-up actions, and support key HR initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and records.
  • Assist with routine HR processes and business requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure HR activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support the smooth delivery of HR services across the organization.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–4 years of HR experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, HR Operations, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of core HR processes, including:
    • Onboarding
    • Employee transfers
    • Promotions
    • Organizational changes
    • Offboarding
    • Performance cycles
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and basic HR compliance.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with HR teams and business stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting HR Business Partners.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
