Job description

About Pantheon

Pantheon WebOps Platform powers the open web, running more than 300,000 sites in the cloud for customers including Google, Princeton, Salesloft and Doctors Without Borders. Every day, thousands of developers and marketers create, iterate, and scale WordPress and Drupal sites to reach billions of people globally. Pantheon's multitenant, container-based platform enables organizations to manage all of their websites from a single dashboard. Organizations including Clorox and the United Nations drive results through accelerated development and real-time publishing using Pantheon's collaborative workflows.

The Role:

We're looking for a Partner Manager to own and grow a book of our most strategic agency partners - helping them build pipeline, deepen their Pantheon practice, and graduate through our partner tiers. This is a high-visibility role on a program that's actively being built, and you'll have real influence over how it evolves.

What you'll do:
  • Own a named book of 100-120 high-potential partner agencies - a mix of Pantheon's emerging Premier partners
  • Build and execute account plans for each named partner - joint pipeline targets, vertical focus, certification milestones, MDF deployment, and a defined path to tier graduation
  • Build verticalized GTM motions with partner marketing - ABM Accelerator engagements, co-marketing campaigns, industry-specific playbooks
  • Surface and resolve partner friction proactively - escalation, cross-functional orchestration with product, support, finance, and CS
  • Bring field feedback into program iteration, help shape MDF policy, tier graduation criteria, and playbook evolution

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years in partner management, channel sales, or strategic alliance roles - agency or services-partner experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of building and growing a named partner book - you've owned a number tied to sourced and influenced revenue, not just enrollment metrics
  • Strong communicator credible with agency founders, CEOs, and senior practice leads - comfortable in both executive conversations and engineer-level technical reviews
  • Data fluent - you can pull your own reports, spot trends before they become obvious problems, and bring data into conversations proactively
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity - this program is being built, not inherited, and you'll help shape it
  • Co-sell fluency - you've operated alongside a direct sales team, navigated deal-reg conflicts, and built operating cadences with AEs and SEs
  • Familiarity with web development agencies or the WordPress/Drupal ecosystem is a meaningful plus
What We Offer

We have all the usual perks and benefits but what we can really offer you is a fantastic work environment powered by an amazing team.

  • Industry competitive compensation and equity plan
  • Flexible time off, sick days, and 13 paid holidays
  • Comprehensive medical insurance including Health, Dental and Vision
  • Paid parental leave (plus fertility, adoption and other family planning benefits)
  • In-office workspace (San Francisco)
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, reading and access to LinkedIn Learning for continued development
  • Events and activities both team-based and company wide that inspire, educate and cultivate

The US base salary range for this role is $123,000 - $154,000 USD

The Canadian base salary range for this role is $112,000 - $140,000 CAD

This position also offers a performance bonus based on company performance. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
