We are seeking a motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support leadership decision-making. The Finance Analyst will develop financial models, analyze business performance, and provide insights that shape company strategy and resource allocation.
Location: Mission, KS (In-Office)
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
What you'll do:
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning in collaboration with the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Maintain and update financial models to assess business performance and scenario planning. Work with Operating Companies to understand key performance indicators and the drivers of those performances.

Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis against the budget and forecast.
  • Track key financial and operational KPIs, providing actionable insights for management across departments, including operations, sales, marketing, human resources, safety and fleet, and leadership.
  • Consolidate financial results across departments, business units, or regions. Understand and communicate balance sheet and cash flow trends across the organization.

Strategic Support:
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting and financial models to quickly provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to automate manual processes and enhance reporting capabilities as needed.
  • Support M&A, financing, or other strategic initiatives, as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and prioritize effectively.

Process & Compliance:
  • Ensure financial data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Streamline and improve financial reporting processes and tools.
