Google Cloud Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ) , scripting, and so met imes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform ( Google Cloud Platform ) infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience building sof t war e solutions for secure government cloud environments
  • 3+ years of experience implementing IaC using Terraform
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience designing and automating the provisioning of Google Cloud Platform resources using IaC and automation tools
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
  • Experience with code management tools such as Git or GitLab, in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, and TLS
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience building, securing, and optimizing workloads on Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining cloud governance controls such as Google Cloud Platform organization policies and IAM best practices

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
