  • Develops and monitors environmental procedures on construction sites. Implements and trains project work crews and management teams regarding potential environmental issues and procedures. 
  • Identifies, documents, and resolves environmental risks during daily site inspections. Documents findings, evaluations, and inspections using company-approved procedures and software. 
  • Advises project management on the proper interpretation and implementation of environmental regulations and specifications. 
  • Documents, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies. 
  • Advises construction teams on environmental hazards and procedures to minimize adverse effects. 
  • Performs impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate the project’s environmental risks and financial costs. 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field required. 
  • 5+ years environmental regulatory and compliance experience in the construction industry required.  
  • Expert knowledge of the local regulations or skill sets related to the specific work on project. 
  • Expert knowledge of compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation. 
  • Proven technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
