Job description

Our Company

At Teradata, we believe that people thrive when empowered with better information. Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform activates enterprise intelligence by unifying data, knowledge and business context to achieve tangible outcomes. With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters. Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.

What You’ll Do

Teradata is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to drive the growth and evolution of its global partnerships with NVIDIA and Google Cloud. This role is part of the Worldwide Alliances & Partners organization and represents a unique opportunity to directly shape Teradata's position at the intersection of AI, cloud, and data platforms.

Strategic partnerships are a critical component of Teradata's growth strategy. As Director of Worldwide Strategic Alliance Development, you will own the global relationship and business development strategy with NVIDIA and Google Cloud, driving both revenue growth and joint innovation through deep collaboration across organizations. You will work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Consulting, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, as well as senior leadership at both partner organizations.

You will define and execute a global partnership strategy that drives measurable commercial outcomes and joint innovation with NVIDIA and Google Cloud:

Strategy & Business Development
  • Define and execute a global strategy to grow Teradata's business in partnership with NVIDIA and Google Cloud, aligned to AI, data, and cloud priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner's business objectives, product portfolios, and roadmaps, and translate these into actionable opportunities for Teradata.
  • Identify new business opportunities with and through NVIDIA and Google Cloud, develop strategies to capture them, and align stakeholders on execution.
  • Identify, incubate, and scale joint solutions, accelerators, and offerings that differentiate Teradata in the market and drive customer adoption.
Executive Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across both partners, establishing trusted, peer-to-peer engagement to accelerate strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across partner ecosystems and within Teradata to support long-term growth.
  • Act as a credible leader in product-level discussions, shaping direction, facilitating decisions, and ensuring alignment across Teradata and partner teams.
Product & Engineering Collaboration
  • Lead direct engagement between Teradata Product and Engineering teams and partner product organizations, driving alignment on joint architectures and integrations, AI/ML frameworks and data platform capabilities, and product roadmap coordination and innovation priorities.
  • Ensure that product collaboration efforts translate into commercial outcomes, including pipeline growth, deal acceleration, and new revenue streams.
GTM & Marketing Execution
  • Partner with the GTM organization to define and execute co-sell and industry solution motions, integrating NVIDIA and Google Cloud into account planning and sales execution.
  • Drive increased joint engagement through enablement, collaboration frameworks, and resource alignment to accelerate growth globally.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to prioritize and execute high-impact joint campaigns, thought leadership, and industry-specific initiatives.
Who You Will Work With
  • Senior leadership and product teams at NVIDIA and Google Cloud, establishing peer-to-peer relationships that drive joint innovation and strategic alignment.
  • Teradata's VP of Strategic Alliances, who you will report to directly, along with the broader Worldwide Alliances & Partners organization.
  • Sales, Pre-Sales, and GTM leadership to co-develop go-to-market motions and integrate partners into account and pipeline strategies.
  • Teradata Product and Engineering teams to align on joint architecture, integrations, and roadmap coordination with partner organizations.
  • Marketing stakeholders to execute co-branded campaigns, thought leadership, and industry-specific initiatives that raise visibility and drive demand.
  • Colleagues across Operations, Finance, and Legal who play a role in partner program governance, contracts, and compliance.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partner sales within enterprise technology.
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms and AI ecosystems, with strong familiarity with Google Cloud and/or NVIDIA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives, including direct engagement with product and engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of alliance management across strategic, tactical, and operational levels, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience developing and executing strategy, business plans, and joint solutions that drive revenue growth.
  • High degree of executive presence with the ability to effectively engage senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and credibility across internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
  • Ability to manage complex partner environments where objectives may not always be fully aligned — you navigate ambiguity with confidence and clarity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and operate effectively across multiple organizations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and results — you identify opportunities and move decisively to pursue them.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to synthesize complex information for executive audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a virtual, global work environment and willingness to travel approximately 25% as needed to build and sustain relationships.
