Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience developing learning solutions in various formats.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), Kubernetes, DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • Experience collaborating with technical subject-matter experts.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to assist in the development of learning content.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Associate Cloud Engineer Certification, Professional Cloud Architect Certification, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
  • Experience with virtualization, hybrid cloud architectures, or Kubernetes (GKE) cluster administration.
  • Recent coding or scripting experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript/Node, Go, Java/Kotlin, or Unix/Linux shell scripting.

As a Technical Curriculum Developer for Cloud Infrastructure, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for a variety of critical cloud roles. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Search in-depth into Google Cloud Infrastructure technologies, gaining experience to understand the services and develop effective training for our customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional subject-matter experts and partners in the development process.
  • Design and develop creative learner-centered training content and curricula in multiple modalities, including instructor-led training, on-demand interactive e-learning, videos, labs, job aids, facilitator guides, and resource materials.
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across multiple global locations.
  • Ensure best-practice standardization and elevate the quality of technical curricula by leveraging generative AI tools, while maintaining a structured revision process to stay responsive to fast-paced innovation.
