Job Description - DBA
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, and production support for critical business applications.
The candidate should possess hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar enterprise database platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain database environments.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Perform database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
• Ensure database availability, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
• Implement high-availability and replication solutions.
• Support production deployments and release management activities.
