Job Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Business Partner for a 3-month contract. In this role, you will handle the foundational administrative and document control tasks required to export pet food globally. You will leverage AI for document completion and perform manual verification prior to submission to USDA.
Key Responsibilities
USDA Submissions: Prepare and submit accurate regulatory documentation to the USDA and other government agencies.
Health Certificates: Complete, verify, and track official Health Certificates required for international shipments.
Document Distribution: Coordinate and distribute approved regulatory packages to receiving countries to prevent shipping delays.
Data Tracking & Reporting: Utilize Google Sheets to maintain trackers, manage logs, and ensure accurate, real-time visibility into the status of submissions.
System Management: Use internal databases and digital tools (like SAP, AO Docs, and tracking systems) to maintain accurate compliance records.
Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with logistics, shipping, and quality teams to ensure all paperwork matches export requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree preferred (Business, Logistics, Animal/Natural Sciences, or related fields).
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in compliance, logistics, or document control.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets is required (managing spreadsheets, sorting data, and using formulas). Comfort learning new software systems like SAP, AO Docs, or AI-assisted tools is a plus.
