Overview:

The Performance Media Associate (Paid Social) is responsible for supporting our Planners and PPC specialists in the day-to-day. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing tasks to keep projects on track.. This role reports to the Associate Director, Paid Search & Social.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Responsible for the day-to-day coordination/execution and management of media plans and schedules and working closely with Planners to learn campaign needs to function proactively versus reactively
  • This requires fluency in ad-planning tool, ad-server, and reporting systems once trained
  • Ensures Planners are receiving requested information from partners in due time and following up when necessary
  • Holds Planners accountable for keeping the status of RFPs, proposals, and orders current in the ad-planning tool
  • Creates spec doc and UTMs for Planners review/ approval and trafficking to Producers
  • Spearheads creative review, campaign set-up, and trafficking along with partner QA and ad-ops access/ reporting set-up
  • Verifies appropriate data filters through and/or reporting set-up across all partners/ channels as well as develops and maintains a client-friendly screenshot/ proof-of-purchase (POP) deck with campaign ads
  • Works with multiple sources of analytics to be able to ensure the correct data is being used for Planner analysis and optimization and scheduled reporting
  • Efficient Tools and Systems Management:
    • Manage ad-planning tools, servers, and reporting systems efficiently.
    • Ensure timely information delivery to Planners and PPC Specialists.
    • Maintain accurate data filters, reporting setups, and client-friendly decks.
    • Campaign Coordination and Implementation:
    • Create campaign documents, facilitate trafficking, and oversee the creative review.
    • Coordinate with PPC Specialists for day-to-day campaign execution.
    • Ensure completeness of campaign implementations and accountability of specialists.
  • Analytics, Optimization, and Trends Research:
    • Utilize multiple analytics sources for analysis and optimization.
    • Research media and PPC trends for strategic planning and presentations.
    • Gather data to equip specialists for strategic recommendations.
  • Technology Proficiency and Management:
    • Maintain proficiency in PPC platforms and media technology stack.
    • Understand and manage tools including Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.
  • Expense Tracking, Billing, and Task Management:
    • Monitor expenses on paid social platforms for accurate billing.
    • Proactively manage tasks to keep projects on track.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Spearhead creative review, campaign set-up, and trafficking.
    • Coordinate with PPC Specialists for information exchange and optimization recommendations.
    • Make budget adjustment recommendations based on campaign performance insights.

Education & Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience.
