THE WORK:
Become a leader in the premier sales force for the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG), bringing its market-leading Google Cloud solutions to our clients. This is more than a traditional sales role; you will be a strategic guide, helping clients navigate their most significant technology transformations. As a Mid-Market Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical guide for our clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help them solve their most complex challenges and achieve their business objectives. You will partner with mid-market companies to design and implement transformative solutions on the Google Cloud platform, ensuring that technology decisions are directly tied to measurable value and long-term success.
Your role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities. You will architect and build innovative solutions using Google Cloud technologies-including Gemini Enterprise, Data & AI, CES, Security, and Gen AI-that empower our clients to thrive.
  • Partner with clients through in-depth discovery and assessment workshops to deeply understand their business challenges, strategic goals, and technical landscape.

  • Act as the client's trusted advisor, guiding them on Google Cloud solutions and how to build technologies structured for continuous innovation and growth.

  • Architect and design cutting-edge solutions on GCP that are directly tied to achieving tangible business outcomes and a strong return on investment.

  • Illustrate the "art of the possible" by leading technical workshops and proof-of-concept (POC) solutions that demonstrate how Accenture's solutions on Google Cloud solve their specific problems.

  • Serve as the technical authority for the client, providing expert guidance on industry best practices, solution feasibility, and technology strategy to de-risk their investments.

  • Collaborate on crafting value-driven proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring the technical solution is sound, innovative, and aligned with the client's vision for success.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales through implementation, aligning customer expectations with the delivery team's execution plan.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hands-on, client-facing technology role (e.g., Cloud Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant).

  • Minimum of 4 years of deep, hands-on experience architecting and building solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Modernization, Data & AI, Call Center AI, Workspace, Marketing Technology, Security and/or Agentic AI solutions leveraging Google Cloud technologies.

  • Minimum of 4 years presenting to and engaging with technical and executive-level stakeholders.

  • Minimum of 2 years of managing global teams and well versed in project management methodologies and industry best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent 12 years work experience. If Associates degree, 6 years of work experience.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Consulting or sales experience leading innovation and stakeholder management

  • Expertise in engineering, operating models and engineering best practices

  • Deep expertise across the GCP ecosystem, including CES, GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Security, Workspace and Apigee

  • Google Cloud Professional certifications

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
