Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing or digital media planning managing performance marketing campaigns.
  • Experience directing paid media campaigns across search, social, display, and video channels.
  • Experience managing external creative or media agencies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects maintaining project management documentation (e.g., workback schedules, milestone trackers, and campaign launch plans).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Google Ads ecosystem and advanced advertising technology, with a passion for and experience in leveraging AI to optimize paid media performance.

As the Media Product Marketing Manager for Grow with Google, you will lead the strategic vision, execution, and optimization of our full funnel paid media efforts to drive learner activation and enrollment into our learning programs.
You will be responsible for end-to-end media planning across Search engine marketing (SEM), Performance Max, Demand Gen, and other paid media channels, translating deep user insights into highly targeted, effective campaigns. In this role, you will apply a user-centric approach to understanding our learner personas, design and test optimization levers across the funnel, and systematically optimize our media budgets to drive scale and efficiency. You will serve as the primary operational and strategic lead for our external agency partners, steering media strategy, defining campaign parameters, and executing media plans.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the end-to-end paid media strategy across digital channels (including SEM, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and Paid Social) to meet growth targets.
  • Direct the complete media planning process from discovery and briefing through creative production, campaign activation, and performance measurement. Align campaign parameters and secure approvals to brief agency partners.
  • Act as the primary lead for external agency partners, managing day-to-day operations, establishing campaign timelines, and executing media plans and optimization strategies.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer journeys, synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, and build user-centric campaigns that address learner needs and minimize friction.
  • Define key performance indicators and set performance benchmarks. Utilize analytical and attribution models (such as conversion lift studies and media mix modeling) to analyze campaign performance, optimize media spend, and guide strategic resource allocation.
