Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Location: Austin, Texas [Hybrid – 3 days remote with 2 days onsite – (Thurs & Fri)]

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team.

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will lead the design and architecture of IT modernization and transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on Data Center Operations and cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for developing scalable cloud solutions, architectural blueprints, network topologies, and technical specifications while aligning technology solutions with business requirements. The architect will work closely with enterprise architects, technology leadership, application teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to support cloud migration, modernization, automation, security, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience working with computer systems, IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cloud technologies and services from major cloud providers.
  • Strong understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS delivery models.
  • Experience with cloud-based network design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, data governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, architecture diagramming, and modeling skills; experience with tools such as Visio, Microsoft Office, and MS Project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in technology architecture and enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, microservices, and Kubernetes architecture, deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
  • Experience supporting Kubernetes clusters, serverless infrastructure, APIs, and cloud integrations.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure ARM Templates.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, auditing, and operations tools such as Sysdig Secure, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Operations, and Azure Monitor.
  • Proficiency with automation and scripting using Bash, KornShell, PowerShell, Cloud CLI, and Kubernetes Helm.
  • Experience with YAML, JSON, Ruby, HCL, Docker, Terraform, and other IaC technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to lead technical teams, provide direction, and establish best practices and procedures.

 

Preferred Skills

  • 8+ years of experience architecting, engineering, or developing enterprise IT solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Advanced experience with cloud architecture, modernization, transformation, and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud database services including SQL/Oracle and NoSQL, data lakes, and cloud ETL/ELT practices.
  • Knowledge of AI services and configuration available from major cloud service providers.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data frameworks.
  • Experience designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-based systems and integrations.
  • Experience leading strategic technology initiatives, cross-agency programs, and complex cloud transformation projects.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may also be considered.
