Manufacturing Automation Engineer
Mountain View, CA
Development of automated assembly solutions for wrist-wearable consumer electronics products
- Experience in an automation and/or manufacturing environment (tooling, equipment, process and assembly experience preferred)
- Experience with robotic manipulators: cartesian, SCARA, parallel link, 6 axis robots
- Sensors and machine vision systems applications
- Material handling systems: carriers, conveyors, index tables
- Assembly processes: pick and place, screw driving, heat staking, adhesive films, liquid adhesives, curing, cleaning, parts feeding
- Statistical analysis: measurement systems analysis, process capability, process control, DOEs
- Productivity characterization: up / down time, availability, maintainability
- Cycle time optimization
