Job description

Google Workspace Engineer

Location: NY - Onsite Contract: Long Term

Collaboration Systems Engineer

3+ years of experience working with SaaS collaboration tools or in a technical support role.

Manage the end-to-end application lifecycle (onboarding, support, decommissioning) for key SaaS collaboration systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Miro, Asana).

Provide Tier 1/2 support, resolving user issues, managing permissions/access, and proactively monitoring system performance and availability.

Partner with cross-functional teams (IAM, Security, Legal, Procurement) to establish, update, and enforce application policies (including lifecycle), licensing, and financial renewals, inclusive of rightsizing, RFI, RFP, implementation and termination/decommissioning of tooling.

Assist with the setup, configuration, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of collaboration tools across the organization for end users.

Document incidents, supported user training/onboarding, and contribute to process improvements to drive efficiency in SaaS operations.

Target efficiencies through automation and AI technologies; enhance workflows and interoperability in our owned systems.

Familiarity supporting Enterprise SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Okta, Asana, Miro, etc.

Solid understanding of GAM (Google Automation), Python, REST API.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Solid understanding of secure authentication methods (SAML, OIDC, etc.), SSO, and IAM best practices to support user access management and security across collaboration systems.
