Job description:
  • Experienced Analytics and Automation Engineer, preferably with experience in the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics and automation background with exposure to networking, including layer 2 and layer 3 networking stack, andhands-on experience with routers, switches, and PON technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Actual experience working for a telecom service provider or a supplier
  • At least 3 years of experience in automation engineering; 5 years preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, Java, and proficiency in other programming languages.
  • Expertise in Linux and shell scripting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of artificial intelligence trends and applications.
  • Ability to apply different models to solve various network-related problems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including layer 2 and layer 3 protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, Ethernet switches, and preferably PON technologies, WiFi 5/6/6E/7, TR-69, TR-143, TR-181.
  • Familiarity with Google tools is preferred.
  • Experience with open source tools relevant to network automation and analytics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.
