Job description

Position: Sales Associate - Google Holiday Program

 Purpose: Drive awareness and sales of Google products (Pixel Buds, Pixel Watch, Pixel Phone) in-store during the holiday season.

Schedule & Commitment

Start Date: Week of November 28, 2025 (store walkthroughs on November 25 or 26; first shift on Black Friday, November 28)
End Date: Week of January 11, 2026
Shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (8 hours per day)
Virtual Training: Scheduled for Friday, November 21 (time TBD)

Compensation

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

  • Proven ability to sell and engage customers; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Full availability for all scheduled program dates and weekend shifts.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and set up a table display.

  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior brand ambassador, promotional, retail, sales, or customer-service experience.

  • Familiarity with or interest in smart-home technology and consumer electronics.

  • Comfort demonstrating and explaining technology to non-technical customers.

  • Set up, staff, and break down a branded promotional table at your assigned location.

  • Proactively engage shoppers and deliver Google Nest product highlights and benefits.

  • Promote the in-store instant rebate and encourage same-visit purchases.

  • Provide a positive, professional brand experience that supports sales goals.

  • Complete required on-site reporting and safeguard and return all program materials.

  • Complete required self-paced online product courses and one live virtual training session (paid) before the program.

  • Represent Google's Pixel Phone, Pixel Buds, and Pixel Watch at an assigned major national electronics retailer location.
  • Engage customers with product demonstrations and expert knowledge.
  • Drive awareness and sales of Google products through outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain professional communication with store teams and program managers.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals, including sales targets (e.g., 4 units sold per shift).
  • Attend virtual training and complete onboarding requirements.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and timely check-ins for each shift.
  • Uphold Google's brand standards and create a positive in-store experience.
