Who We Are
The Enrollment Management Student Ambassador team is a group of highly motivated, hard-working students who serve as University of Michigan-Dearborn representatives in order to assist prospective students, current students, and parents in understanding University policies and procedures related to the admissions process, financial aid process, registration, paying student bills, and applying for graduation.
Responsibilities*
  • Group and individual campus tours
  • Prep recruitment event/visit materials
  • Assist at recruitment and enrollment events
  • Answer student questions in-person, on the phone, and by email
  • Utilize a case management system to escalate complex questions
  • Teach students how to submit documents via the student portal
  • Make outbound calls to prospective and current students
  • Other office responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications*
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and U of M-Dearborn student self-service
  • Possess dependability, leadership skills, and Wolverine pride
  • Integrity and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential student information
  • Reliable transportation to campus
  • Must be a current student
  • Must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
