Job description

Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE providing care and compassion for the elderly? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part time Caregiver. This is a critical position, in our Ellicott City location. As part of the Wellness team, you will be responsible for assisting residents in varies daily basic life activities. We'll expect a good bedside manner with at least 1-year relatable experience, CAN/GNA certifications a plus. In return we'll provide a competitive salary, bonus opportunities, paid holidays, and Sick Time. Plus, the best residents! Schedule is rotating weekends per diem opportunities. Hourly rate starting at $17.00 with room for experience. This position requires both assisted living and memory care.
Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrated compassionate, patient with a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to show tactful compassion in high stress and emotional situations
  • Provide care as directed by the nurse or designee to residents residing in the facility.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition both physically and emotionally.
  • Provide assistance with activities of Daily Living.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use.
