Summary:
Inspect the quality of finished products and pack them. Maintain supplies levels and conditions on the machine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual inspection of finished products and ensure the quality is according to the standards required.
  • Maintain required supplies at the machines in a good level and good condition to keep it producing flawlessly.
  • Pack finished product accordingly.
  • Communicate issues to the Team Leader/Technician.
  • Records appropriate production forms.
  • Keep the work environment area clean and safe.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Management.

Work Schedule
  • Weekend 12-hour shifts
    • 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
    • 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Night prime $1.50/hour
  • Overtime available if desired

Educations and/or Experience & Skills:
  • Prior line packer experience (preferred)
  • Prior food-grade manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and follow directions. Must be able to speak, listen, and openly communicate with team members and actively participate in team meetings.
  • Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment.
  • Ability to define and react to problems, color variations, small imperfections, collects data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion and decision during a fairly fast-paced production level.

Requirements:
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis
  • Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis
  • Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis
  • Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
  • Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis (stand 8 hours or more)
  • Possess manual dexterity
  • Detail-oriented, well organized with a demonstrated ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment
