Position Description
US FUSION & Specialty Construction
General Description:
Assist with fuses, fabricating and installing products for assigned jobs. Performs general manual labor tasks including digging, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or foreman.
Essential Functions:
1. Digging, Loading/unloading, lifting and moving of materials on site.
2. Responsible for good housekeeping practices on jobsite and in the shop.
3. Adheres to all applicable safety standards
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cross-train with other departments as needed.
2. Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
3. Must be willing to travel.
Position Requirements
Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:
1. High School Diploma
2. Valid Driver's License
3. Valid TWIC - OSHA card
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Equipment/mechanical knowledge.
2. Strong attention safety and instructions.
3. Dependable and punctual
4. Communication skills.
5. Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude regarding US Fusion.
