Performs a variety of laboratory procedures, some of which are complex, involving numerous steps and techniques, operates various laboratory instruments, and may be required to use independent judgment. The principles and techniques of good laboratory practice are required to produce test results, which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment. These specific tasks will allow the Laboratory technician to play a part in the giving of quality patient care in a safe working environment. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.

Education: Associate Degree in Clinical Lab Science
