Job description

The Peninsula Airport Commission is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team to work Sunday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
  • Perform floor care duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and buffing Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
