Job description

Plumas Pines Golf Resort is now hiring Golf, Pro-Shop, Hot Shots Driving Range, Golf Host, and Course Maintenance positions for the 2026 season

If you love the game of golf and enjoy working in a fun and outdoor environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. 

Grounds Maintenance

  • Maintain and care for the golf course grounds, including mowing, watering, edging, and fertilizing.
  • Assisting with course set-up for daily play, including flag placement and tee box preparation.
  • Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Operate light motorized equipment & utility vehicles on the course. No previous experience necessary. 

Pro Shop

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Pro Shop, stocking merchandise and assisting customers.
  • Assisting with Pro Shop operations, such as checking in golfers, handling payments, and answering customer inquiries.
  • Help organize and execute tournaments, events, and leagues as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks in the Pro Shop, such as cleaning and restocking supplies.
  • Assist with player services, such as golf club rentals, cart rentals, and managing tee time reservations.
  • Uphold golf course standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on a golf course or in a Pro Shop preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and course maintenance practices.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Hot Shots Driving Range

  • Uphold the golf course's standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety at all times
  • Upbeat people person who prides themselves in ensuring our guests have a great time
  • Ability to learn our booking and food and beverage software programs
  • Bussing, serving, and bar tending experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of golf
  • Comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions
  • Able to work afternoon and evenings, possibly up to 10:00 p.m.
  • Able to lift over 20 pounds
  • Good organizational skills working with people of all ages
  • Uphold the golf course's standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety at all times

Golf Host

  • Upbeat people person who prides themselves in ensuring our guests have a great time
  • Basic golf knowledge is plus but not a requirement
  • Must have a driving permit/driver's license
  • Comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions
  • Able to lift over 30 pounds
  • Comfortable driving a golf cart and golf maintenance vehicle
  • Able to work early mornings or evenings up to approximately 9:00 p.m.
