Job description

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineers to join their rapidly growing team!
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. This role involves handling complex tasks with minimal supervision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. This position requires a strong grasp of software development methodologies, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. 
Description:
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with other team members.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Work to continuously improve the development process, tools, and overall software reliability. 
  • Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Determine the root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, long-term solutions.
  • Drive and influence technical decisions, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the product and engineering team.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies and best practices. 
  
Qualifications
  • An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.  Last Poly within past 7 years.
  • Level 2:
    • BS + 14 years experience
  • Level 3:
    • BS + 20 years experience
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as [e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.].
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $300K.
