Job description

Culligan Water is hiring  to help grow our residential customer base in Johnson County, KS. This role will begin in Johnson County, with the opportunity to expand into additional territories as the position grows.
This is a field-based, door-to-door appointment-setting role. You will work in assigned neighborhoods, speak with homeowners, create interest in Culligan’s water treatment solutions, and schedule qualified in-home appointments for our Sales Representatives.
This is not a closing role. You will not be responsible for running full sales appointments or closing deals. Your job is to generate qualified opportunities.
This position is designed as a pathway into a full Sales Representative role with significantly higher earning potential. A minimum of six months of documented success is required to be eligible for advancement.
Responsibilities
  • Canvass assigned residential territories by knocking doors, engaging homeowners, creating interest in Culligan solutions, and setting qualified in-home appointments for Sales Representatives
  • Represent Culligan at community events, farmers markets, trade shows, 5Ks, golf outings, and other local activities. 
  • Track weekly activity, appointment-setting performance, and territory results
  • Complete follow-up visits and revisits with homeowners
  • Learn the Culligan sales process, product knowledge, and customer conversation flow
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and resilient attitude in the field
Performance Standard
The minimum performance standard is 15 appointments set per week.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $24,000/year
  • Modeled earning potential: $75,400–$95,560+
  • Additional earning potential is based on appointment-setting performance, activity levels, and advancement opportunity
Schedule
  • Variable field-based schedule
  • Approximately 50% of the schedule will be employer-directed based on territory needs, events, and business priorities
  • 1-3 Saturday's per month required
  • 2-5 evenings per month required
  • Work week can be offset to average approximately 40 hours per week
  • Community engagement events are included as part of the role
Training
Culligan provides a 4-week structured training program covering canvassing, appointment setting, territory management, product knowledge, customer conversations, and performance expectations.
