PRO SHOP ATTENDANT

Reports To: Golf Operations Manager and Golf Supervisor

Department: Golf Clubhouse

Status: Seasonal, Full-Time (May - October estimate)

Expected Start Date: July 1, 2026

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour


POSITION OVERVIEW: The Golf Clubhouse Pro Shop is the control center of daily operations. The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for effective tee sheet management, retail execution, providing accurate information to golfers, and ensuring the best experience for each guest at the highest possible level. We are looking for new team members that are organized, demonstrate strong ability to take initiative, detail-oriented, skilled in suggestive sales language, capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment where timing is key. The Pro Shop Attendant may be asked to support ranger activites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Golf Operations:

  • Execute and manage check-in process and tee time flow. Print tee sheets for all outside services staff and the food truck staff.
  • Process green fees, cart fees, and merchandise transactions accurately and with the proper player type.
  • Monitor and update tee sheet throughout the day. Communicate updates to the cart staff, food and beverage staff, and starter/ranger staff accordingly.
  • Coordinate with cart staff and communicate all operations' needs.
  • Enforce pace-of-play, course policies, and cart curfew standards.

Retail & Merchandising:

  • Maintain clean, organized, and full stocked displays.
  • Follow the visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and keeping tabs on top retail performers.
  • Resolve guest concerns independently within your abilities.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Complete cash drawer reconciliation and drop cash sales and cash bank in safe at closing.
  • Support reporting and operational tasks assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and support other departments for races, events and operations on high volume days.
  • May be asked to support ranger activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong attention to detail with prioritizing accuracy.
  • Skilled at multitasking in high volume environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Able to work cooperatively with other staff members and take direction from others.
  • Able to read and speak English and communicate effectively.
  • Actively looks for ways to help people.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented and strong systems minded.
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
  • Strong team mentality and positive attitude under pressure.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
