YOUR ROLE

As the Assistant Golf Professional, you are involved in leading, directing, and managing all aspects of our premier private golf facility. You work closely with other golf professionals to help supervise and manage the total golf operations, ensuring a high level of service that meets the Membership's expectations for excellence. Additionally, you assist the Golf Shop Merchandiser with concession duties, maintain Golf Shop controls, and help with hard goods buying. You also assist with the starter on the first tee, marshal the golf course, and have the opportunity to play golf with Members. By promoting and teaching the game of golf, using V1 teaching software, and coordinating summer sports camps, and junior programs, you play a vital role in enhancing the overall golf experience at our club.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 2 or higher PGA education
  • High School diploma and/or GED required. College Education preferred.
  • Two to five years' experience in a high-end private golf operation
  • Ability to work weekends/holidays as required
  • Exceptional Member service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft & Golf Genius
  • Teaching/Coaching experience preferred
  • Playing ability
