Prestonwood Country Club, a premiere Golf Course with 3 18-hole golf courses in Cary, NC is seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join our team of Golf Payer Assistants. These area Part Time, Year Round positions and Seasonal positions.
Job Information:
The Player Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Golf Professional Staff with tee sheet controls by greeting players at the first tee, reciting the daily golf course conditions, maintaining pace of play on the course, and delivering a positive experience for all Members and Guests. The Player Assistant will assess potential pace of play issues and regulate pace of play through proactive measures throughout the day.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide information regarding golf course, starting time, and other golf related issues
  • Verify that appropriate fees have been collected in the Golf Shop
  • Communicate starting times, player names/status, and pace of play with Golf Shop staff
  • Supply players with scorecards, pencils, pin sheets, and other amenities
  • Inform players of upcoming golf events
  • Monitor tee time intervals to coincide with tee sheet
  • Maintain tee sheet records and submit to Golf Shop prior to close of business
  • Provide players with sand bottle refills and towels while on course
  • Monitor cleanliness of on-course facilities/amenities

Job Requirements:
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, good attitude and knowledge of the game of Golf.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and be eligible to work in the United States.
