As a Catering/Events Coordinator at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa you will be responsible for the communicating the details for groups events turned over from sales and ensuring that information is relayed in a timely and accurate manner to the operations department and the hotel management and staff.

What will you be doing? 

  • Create files for contracts, correspondence, forms, memorandums, Delphi management system updates, and other documents.  

  • Answer telephone and responds to caller inquiries.   

  • Exercise decision-making skills to direct callers based on requests.   

  • Accurately records and distributes messages.   

  • Communicate with other hotel associates to relay pertinent sales related information. 

  • Organizes, files, distributes faxes, and other essential functions necessary in the daily department operation. 

  • Works in cooperation between Events Manager(s) and clients in Manager's absence. 

  • Performs supportive functions during the absence of other sales and catering assistants. 

  • Ability to assist in other departments when necessary. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What do you bring to the role? 

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. College degree preferred.
